History of Dimbulagala

When King Wijaya arrived Sri lanka , Dimbulagala was a yaksha endemic.  Prince Pandu aba grew @ Dimbulagala. Dimbulagala yaksha leaders support to prince pandhukabaya to captured kingdom.

When load Buddha came mahiyangana , yaksha leaders alms water taken by dimbulagala crave pond . Its call as a herbal pond.

King walagamba built a crave temple in dimbulagala & Pulligoda paintings is a 2nd best paintings in sri lanka.
